The Unified Exam of Chemistry (EUQ) is a general knowledge exam in chemistry held twice a year, by means of calls, with the aim of assessing the general knowledge in chemistry of candidates for admission to graduate programs in chemistry.
Since 2022, the Graduate Program in Science and Technology/Chemistry at the Federal University of ABC and other graduate programs in Chemistry (USP, UNESP, Unicamp, UFSCar, UFMG, etc.) have been using EUQ or GRE scores to select candidates for the program and rank them for scholarships. At the CTQ, candidates’ scores are standardized, so scores from previous exams are accepted. Today there are 23 postgraduate programs in chemistry using the exam score.
In this way, candidates who are interested in doing graduate studies at the CTQ need to take the EUQ and submit the score when applying to the selection process for the academic term they intend to apply for. Details on how to use the score are described in the admission calls for each academic term.
For more information on the EUQ you can visit https://euq.sbq.org.br/indexi.php.
Participation in the EUQ takes place in two stages:
1. Registration in the restricted area of the EUQ website.
2. Application for the EUQ according to the schedule and calls.
It is possible to register even without registering for the exam. By registering, candidates can choose to receive information about the exam, including exam dates.
