The Graduate Program in Science and Technology / Chemistry (PPG-CTQ) at the Federal University of ABC (UFABC) hereby makes public the list of accepted applications after appeal for the Master’s and PhD Selection Process, for international applicants not currently residing in Brazil, for admission in the Third Academic Term of 2026, with classes beginning in September 2026.

According to the selection process schedule, the preliminary results will be published by March 27, 2026, on the website of the Graduate Program in Science and Technology / Chemistry, at: http://propg.ufabc.edu.br/ppgquimica/.
Furthermore, in accordance with item 6.2 of Public Notice No. 95/2025, transcribed below:
“6.2. Classification, in order of priority for the awarding of Program scholarships, will be divided into two groups, in the following order: candidates who submit the documents corresponding to Group I of item 5.2.1, followed by candidates who submit the documents corresponding to Group II of item 5.2.1.
6.2.1. For classification purposes, academic merit will be assessed based on the following criteria:
– Candidates submitting Group I documents: performance on the EUQ. Candidates will be approved if they obtain a score equal to or greater than (75±1)% of the average score of the examination taken. Scores will be normalized by the mean score of that specific exam.
– Candidates submitting Group II documents: research proposal (40% of the final score), academic transcript and Currículo Lattes (40% of the final score), and two (2) letters of recommendation (20% of the final score). Candidates will be approved if they obtain a final score equal to or greater than 85% of the total possible score, considering all criteria. The items evaluated in the Currículo Lattes are detailed in Annex 2.”

“6.3. It is the candidate’s responsibility to monitor the publication of all notices, announcements, and communications related to this process, which will be made available on the website of the Graduate Program in Science and Technology / Chemistry (http://propg.ufabc.edu.br/ppgquimica/).”
